This song begins with a flashback of when the mother was alive, having the sleep outside due to her abusive husband.

The perspective is then changed to the mother's spirit, asking him to be with her as she takes over the body of his sister (her daughter). Together, the son and mother will be together again and live on in peace.

The perspective is again changed to the brother, who curses his mother for what she is trying to do.

The song ends with the brother, again, feeling lost and alone, but positive he will find his way soon.
